| John Ainsworth | John grew up in the wheatbelt town of Corrigin. He has exhibited his watercolours around the state for the past twelve years and has received over 100 prizes and awards. |
| Charles (Jana) Benjafield | Charles has been involved with this auction for the last three years and has exhibited in numerous galleries. The 'Axe' is what a lot of blues players call their instruments. 'The Garden of Kundalini' image refers to the similarity that the snake/serpent has in Christian and Hindu mysticism. |
| Marilyn Boast | Marilyn loves colour and paints with passion. She has won a number of awards and exhibited in galleries and exhibitions raising funds for schools etc. around WA. She paints mainly in oils and acrylics and enjoys her hobby. |
| Janine Cairnes | Janine is a self-taught artist since retiring and has received valuable input from workshops in Perth, Victoria and Europe. She has won awards and been published in Australian Artist Magazine. Janine has had numerous exhibitions and her work is found in collections around the world. |
| John Cartwright | John started to paint in 1970 and has had exhibitions in galleries in Sydney, Melbourne, Queensland, Perth, Albany and Denmark. He has won the Katanning Art Show prize. John also has his own picture framing business. |
| Peteris Ciemitis | Peteris is an urban designer and artist presently focusing on portraiture. He has been shortlisted for the Archibald Prize in 2007 and 2008. His work is held in numerous collections and was most recently included in the Valmeiras Museum of Art in Latvia. This auction is Peteris' only public offer of work prior to his forthcoming solo exhibition at Gadfly Gallery in August. |
| Alba Cinquini | Alba graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from Edith Cowan University in 1995. Presently she works for Beilby's Recruitment and Picasso's on Walcott St, Mt Lawley. She has exhibited numerous times and is a member of Artists in Arms.

| Steve Clark | Steve has been a graphic designer for most of his workng life and had a small business as an illustrator mostly painting race cars. He has sold four of these paintings in the USA. Steve also has two acrylic paintings in a gallery in Leeds, UK. He now paints full-time and hopes to have an exhibition in July. |
| Douglas Collis | Doug is a 78 year old native Western Australian and used art as a form of recreation during long years of work in the lonely outback. He has worked under Charles Blackman on location in the Upper McDonald area in NSW. Doug is a tireless contributor to various fund raising exhibitions and has supported this auction since its inception. |
| Allan Darby | Allan was born in Perth, and painting is his hobby. He has been painting for over twenty years and has exhibited in many galleries and local exhibitions. He won a prize in the City of Bayswater 2006 Art Exhibition. Allan has been involved with this auction for the past three years. |
| Kerrie Di Cataldo | Kerrie has an Associate Diploma of Arts (Photography). She has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and had one solo exhibition. She was the winner of the Cities of Vincent and Gosnells Art Awards in Photography. Kerrie has lectured in Photography at TAFE. |
| Cynthia Ellis | Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UWA and is considered to be one of WA's leading contemporary artists. She has had 12 solo exhibitions and numerous group shows and was recently artist in residence in Beijing. She has taught adults and school students throughout WA.

| Julian D. Fisher | Julian was born and educated in South Africa, where he practised as an architect and immigrated to Australia in 1988. He began his career as an artist in 1965. He has participated in exhibitions in Australia, South Africa, the UK, the USA and Bahrain. His works are found in galleries in Australia and in South Africa. He has undertaken numerous corporate commissions.

| Josephine Flynn | Josephine grew up in Ireland and arrived in Australia in 1978. She has been exhibiting in group exhibitions for many years. She has won the Tresillian Award for 'Works on Paper' and is studying at ECU. This is her first MLSHS Community Art Auction. |
| Janet Fountain | Janet has multi-panelled landscapes in the collection of the Queensland State Government and lino prints in the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra. Since 2004, she has devoted her arts practice to working with the figure, including dance movement studies with the Perth City Ballet. |
| Murray Gill | Murray is a former school teacher and past MLSHS student. He has his own studio and gallery and is a winner of many art prizes. He is represented in both public and private collections and has even appeared on the American NBC 'Today Show'. His work has strong auction resale value. |
| Valerie Glover | Valerie has studied art for over 20 years in Australia and overseas. She has completed both a Diploma and a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. Valerie has exhibited in many exhibitions and her works now appear in both public and private collections. She won the inaugural City of South Perth Art Award and successfully held her first solo exhibition in 2004. |
| Roger Goodman | Roger is a retired Mechanical Engineer. He has a BA in Art and is currently studying for his MA in Art at Curtin University. He has exhibited at the 'Tangent' Gallery (Curtin) and the 'Cullity' Gallery (UWA). The triptych may be hung horizontally or vertically. |
| Brenda Gordon | Brenda was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and immigrated to Perth ten years ago. She is largely self-taught and enjoys experimenting with different mediums. Brenda recently began selling and exhibiting her art. Currently she is completing a Diploma in Art at TAFE. |
| David Grant | David left teaching to work full-time as an artist in 2000. Since then he has been in numerous exhibitions including the Artists in Arms exhibitions in 2006 and 2007. David was invited to exhibit in Washington State, USA in 2004 and was an invited artist in residence at the QV1 Building in Perth in 2006 and 2007. |
| Carolyn Griffiths | Carolyn has an MA in Creative Arts and has been practising art for over thirty years as a performance artist. She has taught dance and performance in WA, NSW and at the State University of New York, USA. She began 2D art five years ago. |
| Keith Hamilton | Keith is a WA born, qualified pharmacist who changed to full-time art. He has had many exhibitions and sold paintings throughout Australia and in England. He has had a very successful year with many corporate bodies purchasing his works. Keith's work is known for its vivid colour and the movement and life in his oil paintings - please enjoy them! |
| Craig Heath | Craig is a parent of two students at MLSHS. He has recently taken up painting for pleasure. This is his second year of exhibiting in this Art Auction. |
| Sandra Henderson | After teaching Art and English in Secondary Schools in WA for 25 years, Sandra retired to pursue her own creativity. She is inspired by flowers - the intricacy of their many different shapes, forms and colours. Sandra has had numerous exhibitions and is represented in private collections throughout Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Sweden and the Netherlands. She is currently President of the WA Society of Arts. |
| Velda Herring | Velda has been painting almost full-time for the past twelve years. She paints in watercolour, pastel and oil, and has a great passion for the African bush and wildlife. Velda has exhibited throughout Africa and WA, and has sold work to America, Germany, Norway, the UK and Australia. |
| Patricia Hines | Patricia worked for 25 years as a textile designer and has been painting full time since 1990. She won the Best Print at the Albany Art Prize in 2006 and 2007 and recently won the Mandjar Art Award, Regional Award in 2008. Partricia has work in collections in Australia and Canada. |
| Richard Holroyd | Richard has been painting since 1963. Trained at the famous Artist School, Connecticut, Richard also studied Life and Commercial Drawing at Perth Technical College. He has held solo exhibitions and a number of mixed exhibitions overseas. His work can be found in private and public collections in Australia and overseas. |
| Alma Hotchkin | Alma has a background in Commercial Art (RMIT, Victoria) and holds Diplomas in Art Studies and Printmaking. She regularly paints out doors, mainly in pastels, but also in oils and watercolour. She paints portraits and botanical subjects in watercolour and pen. Alma has exhibited in many solo and fundraising exhibitions. |
| Michael Iwanoff | Michael has exhibited for over 30 years in local, national and international exhibitions. He has received major public art commissions and numerous prestigious art awards. His work is held in prominent national collections including the Australian National Gallery and the Art Gallery of WA. Michael has been selected for major national and local publications on contemporary art. |
| Susan Jacobs | Susan is a TAFE qualified artist with a Certificate in Art and Design. She has had one solo exhibition and participated in numerous local exhibitions. Her work is found in both corporate and private collections. |
| Mona Ketelsen | Mona is an Egyptian glass artist with a BA in Language and Literature and a Diploma in Fine Art (Painting and Print Making). She has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in WA. In 2003, she opened her own gallery 'Monart Studio and Gallery' in Dalkeith. |
| Martin Kidd | Martin had his first solo exhibition at the 'Cremorne' Gallery, Perth in 1976. Since then he has had numerous solo exhibitions in Australia and Spain where he lived for ten years. He has lectured at the Claremont School of Art and Central TAFE. Martin has works in collections throughout Australia and the world and is represented in the 'Nine by Five' and 'Gomboc' galleries here in Perth. |
| E.M. Leavesley | E.M. Leavesley graduated from the Claremont School of Art with a Diploma of Art Studies, in 1985. She has had numerous exhibitions at several metropolitan art galleries and in Margaret River since 1992. Her work is to be found in homes in WA and in the USA and is mostly gouache, watercolour and acrylic paintings; mosaics and terracotta sculptures. |
| June Leonhardt | June has a Diploma in Art and Design and has been a member of the Bayswater Art Society (BAS) for over 10 years. Between 1998 and 2002 she was awarded 2nd or 3rd place in the BAS Golden Palette Award, and won 1st in 2003. June participates in many local exhibitions. She has won popular vote for best painting of the month amongst BAS artists at least 12 times. |
| Lawrence Marshall | Lawrence has been interested in photography for many years covering landscape, actors, rock bands, editorial and fine art. He has been involved in numerous exhibitions and was commissioned by the State Government to photograph the town of Wittenoom before its dismantling. He is represented in the Saatchi Gallery, London.

| Gabrielle Mazalevskis | Gabrielle has exhibited since 1986 in painting, drawing and sculpture. She has worked in community arts directing and producing large scale, spectacle theatre. She teaches Art and Design at Central TAFE. Gabrielle is represented in various private collections in Australia, New Zealand and Europe. |
| Charles McLaughlin | Charles is a painter of contemporary Australian Landscapes using multi-layered primary colours to achieve ever-changing moods within a principal theme. He has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Australia and his work is represented in public and private collections including the UWA's Reid Library and TAFE collections. |
| Lesley Meaney | Lesley is an artist, curator and writer. She trained in London in the 1960s and came to Australia in 1969. For a time Lesley lived and painted in the Fiji Islands. She is represented in many collections and has won a number of awards and is documented in a number of significant Australian art publications. |
| Sean Morris | Sean graduated from Curtin University's Design School in 2003 and the Animation Course from the Film & TV Institute in 2005. He took up illustrating seriously in 2006 and exhibited for the first time that year. He has exhibited in numerous shows and has recently exhibited in Melbourne. Sean's first solo show will be in August. |
| Heather Noonan | Heather holds an Art Studies Diploma from Fremantle Tech. and a BA (Fine Arts) from Curtin University. She is a member of the Collage Art Group, 'Connect 5' and Artists in Arms. She frequently exhibits in Perth and sells her work on a regular basis. |
| Raymond Palmer | Raymond is an accomplished deep space photographer and has been published in science magazines across the world. He has recently exhibited at 'Gallery 101', the WA Club and Burswood International Resort. NASA has approached him in relation to his photography. |
| Craig J Pelusey | Craig trained in Fine Art and was a Sculpture major in Perth and in Paris, France. He has lived and worked as a practising artist in the UK for the last eight years and recently moved back to Perth. Craig's art practice is photographic/digitally based.

| Leon Pericles | With over a hundred one man exhibitions throughout Australia and overseas during the last 30 years, Leon holds his place as a well-known and important Australian painter and printmaker. His extraordinary creativity and imagination, combined with impressive technical skills, have resulted in a body of work which engages and challenges the viewer to experience his unique and frequently absurd view of society and landscapes. |
| Vivienne Peters | Vivienne was born in England and graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from the Claremont School of Art in 1983. She has lectured part time at TAFE and participated in many exhibitions. Vivienne spent ten years in Spain and exhibited in Andalusia and Amsterdam. Since her return to Perth, she has again been exhibiting regularly. |
| Marion Power | Marion has studied Art at a Tertiary level in the UK and Australia. She has held several joint exhibitions with the group 'Connect 5' and exhibited in local council and other exhibitions. |
| Sandy Robertson | Sandy's painting career has included painting and teaching in local, interstate and overseas venues. She has won numerous awards for waterclour in WA. Her subjects include landscapes, beach scenes, buildings, cityscapes and flowers. She has been a resident artist in Bivongi, Italy. Sandy is dedicated to promoting watercolour. |
| Joanna Stimson | Joanna is a teacher with an interest in the Arts. She has experimented in many art forms with a passion for materials and embroidery. Beading is a way for her to express her love of colour, texture and form. |
| Gail Turner | Gail is self-taught in the art of dichroic glass. She has been making jewellery for the past two years and has only recently ventured into glass art. She has also been experimenting incorporating photographs into glass jewellery. Gail enjoys the surprise of the finished product. |
| Patricia Verman | Patricia holds a Diploma of Fine Art from the Claremont School of Art and a BA (Visual Art) from ECU. She has had many group, joint and solo exhibitions and won numerous prizes. Patricia's work is found in a number of public and private collections in Australia. |
| Charles Warren | Charles studied Fine Art at Curtin University and has been teaching Art for the past fifteen years. He is currently teaching Art at Mount Lawley Senior High School. |
| Leslie Webb | Leslie has fifteen years experience as a photgrapher/photoprinter. He recently published a book of photography entitled Short Black. |
| Richard Woldendorp | Richard has been a professional photographer for over 45 years. He has been involved with numerous exhibitions and has published some books including: Down to Earth, Design by Nature and Wool. He specialises in aerial photography. |
| Jill Yelland | Jill is a designer, glass artist and serigrapher. She trained in Graphic Design in Perth and Switzerland and 'discovered' glass in 2003. Her use of bold colours, textures and simple strong design is a hallmark of her unique pieces. Jill's artwork is to be found in collections around the world. 'Tanami Desert' reflects the red sand plains to be found in the desert in WA.

| Eli Zagoria | Eli has over seventy years of making a living from his art. He is a multi-award winning artist and successful exhibitor at all of the major Western Australian exhibitions. He spent ten years as a court portrait artist and is a Life Member of the Bayswater Art Society. Eli is still painting and exhibiting in over twenty exhibitions a year. |
